Free Halloween Open Skate

The City of Plymouth has partnered with the Wayzata Youth Hockey Association to host a Halloween Open Skate event 5:15-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31 at the Plymouth Ice Center, 3650 Plymouth Blvd.

The free event will feature complimentary skate rentals on a first-come, first-served basis. Treat bags will be provided by Minnesota Orthodontics, while supplies last.

Ice skaters of all experience levels are welcome, and no registration is required. Costumes are encouraged.

Accessing During Road Construction

Halloween Open Skate attendees should note that road construction on Plymouth Boulevard may detour their route to the Plymouth Ice Center. For the Oct. 31 event, motorists will be able to access the facility by coming from Rockford Road or Vicksburg Lane. However, access from the south on Highway 55 will not be available. To view access/detour maps, visit plymouthmn.gov/plymouthblvd.
