The City of Plymouth will hold a water ski show featuring the Shockwaves Shakopee-Prior Lake Water Ski Team 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9 at Parkers Lake Park, County Road 6 and Niagara Lane.
The beach-front show will feature music, colorful costumes and a variety of water ski entertainment, including jumps, pyramids and other choreographed moves. Viewers are invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic dinner. Cold Stone Creamery will sell ice cream at the event.
Children in the Shockwaves Shakopee-Prior Lake Water Ski Team will perform in a fun pre-show at 6:45 p.m.
Sponsored by the Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department, the event is free and open to the public. Staff recommends viewers arrive early to claim a good seat, as beach-front space and event parking is limited.
