The City of Plymouth has partnered with Abbott Northwestern – WestHealth to present Women’s Health Night Out 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13 at the Plymouth Creek Center, 14800 34th Ave. N.
This new event will focus on breast cancer, covering topics such as prevention and causes.
Speakers include Dr. Lisa Schneider, radiologist at Piper Breast Center WestHealth, and Physical Therapist Gail Ericson of the Penny George Institute for Health and Healing WestHealth. Schneider will discuss myths for breast cancer prevention and Ericson will cover how exercise can be used as a form of medicine.
Cost is $10 per person. Light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments are included.
