Old Fashioned Christmas set for Dec. 9 in Plymouth

The annual Old Fashioned Christmas event is set for 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 at Plymouth Creek Park, 3625 Fernbrook Lane N.
Participants can visit Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, elves and reindeer; nibble on cookies; listen to Christmas tales; roast s’mores over the bon fire; and enjoy hay rides.
Guests can enjoy the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of the holidays at the free annual event, sponsored by the City of Plymouth, Plymouth Historical Society, Abbott-Northwestern WestHealth and TCF Bank.
The event will also include a PRISM toy drive, which accepts new, unwrapped toys for children from birth to age 18.
