Plymouth Metrolink drops fares to $1 in September and October

Plymouth Metrolink bus in front of Station 73 Park and RideAlong with Metro Transit and other regional transit providers, Plymouth Metrolink is dropping regular fares to $1 for the months of September and October. 

“We are joining Metro Transit to reduce fares as a thank you to our riders,” Metrolink Transit Administrator Nur Kasin said. “We also see it as an opportunity to welcome new riders and to showcase what we can offer for commuters.” 

The fare reduction applies to Metrolink express and reverse routes and applies to cash, stored value cards and mobile ticketing. It does not apply to Metrolink Dial-A-Ride shuttles. 

Fares are further discounted to 50 cents for: 

  • Seniors 65 and older
  • Youth 6-12 years old 
  • Medicare card holders
  • Limited mobility customers
  • TAP card holders
