Plymouth Farmers Market Held Wednesdays Through Oct. 2

Post Date:06/10/2013
The annual Plymouth Farmers Market is underway. Held 2:30-6:30 p.m. each Wednesday, the market will be open through Oct. 2 at the Plymouth Center parking lot, 3650 Plymouth Blvd.

More than 20 vendors will be present to provide fresh, locally grown produce and prepared food. Local musicians and children's activities will be featured each week. A weekly drawing for a Farmers Market basket will be held at the information table.

Each month, a city volunteer will hold a children’s story time and present a recipe. An antique car show night will be held July 24, with the assistance of the Plymouth Historical Society. A nutrition-themed night will be held in August.

A community table is available to charity and non-profit organizations for fundraising, promotional and educational purposes. To apply, call Recreation Supervisor Alyssa Krumholz at 763-509-5225 or email akrumholz@Plymouthmn.gov at least two weeks in advance. Donations for the Interfaith Outreach food shelf will also be collected. Donations can be previously bought or purchased at the market.

This year’s sponsors include Country Financial, Minnesota School of Business and Tri State Drilling, Inc.
