The Plymouth Police and Fire departments will host a “Home Alone” workshop for children ages 8-10 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19 in the Plymouth Public Safety Building, second-floor training room, 3400 Plymouth Blvd.

The workshop will teach children how to respond in the event of an emergency while they’re home alone. Plymouth police officers and firefighters will work interactively with participants to discuss a variety of scenarios and issues, including dialing 911, crime prevention in the home, severe weather awareness, scalds and burns, home fire escape plans, Internet safety and cyber bullying.
