City Offers Free Entertainment in the Parks Events

Entertainment in the Parks concert in PlymouthThroughout the summer, the City of Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department presents the annual event series Entertainment in the Parks.

Performances are held at two locations – Parkers Lake Park (County Road 6 and Niagara Lane) and Hilde Performance Center (3500 Plymouth Blvd.).

Upcoming events in July are as follows: 

  • 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 1 – Music in Plymouth, Hilde Performance Center
  • 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 8 – “Anansi the Spider” by Climb Theatre, Parkers Lake 
  • 7 p.m. Thursday, July 9 – High Country, Hilde Performance Center 
  • 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 14 – Hunyuckers, Parkers Lake
  • 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 15 – Water Ski Show, Parkers Lake
  • 7 p.m. Friday, July 17 – “Alladin and His Magic Lamp” Prairie Fire Theatre, Hilde Performance Center 
  • 2 p.m. Saturday, July 18 – “Alladin and His Magic Lamp” by Prairie Fire Theatre, Hilde Performance Center 
  • 7 p.m. Thursday, July 23 – Sawtooth Brothers, Hilde Performance Center 
  • 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 28 – Lehto & Wright, Parkers Lake 
  • 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 29 – Kids Fest, Hilde Performance Center

The events are free and open to the public. No registration is required. Download the full schedule.

Additional Ongoing Events:
Additional ongoing events include the Plymouth Farmers Market and Walk with a Doc. The Plymouth Farmers Market is held 2:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Parkers Lake. Walk with a Doc is a free monthly 45-minute walk led by a local doctor. The next walk is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 7 at the Plymouth Creek Center, 14800 34th Ave.

Entertainment in the Parks is sponsored by Abbott Northwestern - West Health and TCF Bank. View the city calendar. Music in Plymouth is presented by the City of Plymouth and the Plymouth Civic League.
