The City of Plymouth is thrilled to host in-person community events once again – and the city's events have seen quite the turnout.

There is still time to be a part of the fun in Plymouth by checking out an upcoming Entertainment in the Parks event. The following events are held at the Hilde Performance Center, 3500 Plymouth Blvd., unless otherwise noted.

August Entertainment in the Parks events are as follows:

• Kids Fest Carnival and Environmental Fair – 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 5
• Plymouth Sings Finals (Open for the public to watch) – 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11
• Movies in the Park: Sing! – 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12
• Beaches, Burgers & Bands – 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13, East Medicine Lake Park, 1740 E. Medicine Lake Blvd.
• Movies in the Park: Community Choice – 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19
• Movies in the Park: Pokémon Detective Pikachu – 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26

Additional upcoming events include the Public Safety 5K and Kids Fun Run set for 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 at the Northwest Greenway, 5250 Peony Lane and the Plymouth Farmers Market held every Wednesday through Oct. 6 (weather permitting).
