The Minnesota Department of Transportation has shared information about upcoming overnight lane closures on Highway 169 related to the bridge replacement project at County Road 9.

• July 25-27: Southbound Highway 169 will be reduced to one lane between 49th and 36th avenues nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• July 27-29: Northbound Highway 169 will be reduced to one lane between 36th and 49th avenues nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Please note that timeframes are all approximate, subject to change and weather and schedule permitting.

More About the Project

MnDOT is replacing the bridge and reconstructing the interchange at Highway 169 and County Road 9 (Rockford Road/42nd Avenue). When complete, the new interchange will improve traffic flow, decrease delays and increase safety. Construction is anticipated to be completed in fall 2023.
