The Minnesota Department of Transportation has announced that northbound Highway 169 and associated ramps between Highway 55 and 77th Avenue/Brooklyn Boulevard will close this weekend.

The closure will begin at 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9; the roadway and ramps will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12, weather permitting.

This fourth-consecutive closure will allow MnDOT crews to continue resurfacing the roadway.

Southbound Highway 169 will also close next weekend to finish the resurfacing work.

During the closure, MnDOT recommends motorists use County Road 81 and Interstates 694/94, 394 and 494, as well as Highway 100 as alternative routes.
