The Minnesota Department of Transportation has announced that southbound Highway 169 between Highway 55 and 77th Avenue will close this weekend as MnDOT crews finish resurfacing the roadway.

The closure will begin at 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16; the roadway will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19, weather permitting. 

During the closure, MnDOT recommends motorists use County Road 81 and Interstates 694/94, 394 and 494, as well as Highway 100 as alternative routes.
