Hennepin County Library hours will change Sunday, Jan. 5, to add more available hours for visitors. View the updated library hours and locations.

All libraries will open at either 9 a.m. or noon and will close at 5 p.m., 8 p.m. or 9 p.m. New library hours are based on patron use trends and feedback from patrons, staff and stakeholders. They are more aligned with the days of the week and the times of day patrons are currently visiting.

According to its website, “Hennepin County Library will add 249 open hours per week across its 41-library system. In total, the library will be open more than 2,000 hours each week to serve patrons.”
