A little treasure is hidden in Plymouth! The fourth-annual medallion hunt has begun.
Clues will be published in Plymouth Sun Sailor newspaper and on the City of Plymouth website all four weeks leading up to the Fire & Ice Festival – Jan. 9, 16, 23 and 30 – or until someone finds the medallion. There is no need to register or pay to participate – just check out the weekly clues and conduct a search.
A $250 prize will be awarded to the first sleuth who finds the medallion. The winner will be recognized at the Fire & Ice Festival. Only Plymouth residents are eligible for the medallion hunt. The medallion is hidden on city property.
Clue No. 1 – Published Jan. 9
Four years ago marks the time when we began this hunt.
Searching every playfield, and park from back to front.
The medallion is hidden and has found a temporary home.

Clue No. 2 – Published Jan. 16
Snow covers its diamonds, treasures loved in spring, summer, and fall.
And green space to run and throw your favorite ball.
So set out on the various trails that surround.
