Outdoor ice rinks are set to reopen Friday, Jan. 2, weather permitting. Although the rinks were previously opened, the city was forced to close them due to the unseasonably warm weather in mid-December.

City staff is in the process of rebuilding ice in rinks at Bass Lake (non-staffed), Zachary, Plymouth Creek, Parkers Lake, Ridgemount and Oakwood parks.

Warming houses will also open Jan. 2, depending upon weather and safe ice conditions.
