Tune in to the Mayor's Minutes to watch Mayor Kelli Slavik discuss some upcoming events in the City of Plymouth.
Step to it Challenge & Walk with the Mayor The Step to It Challenge will run May 3-30. This four-week competition encourages physical activity as it pits 23 northwest metro cities against one another. Bragging rights will go to the city that is most active and to those residents that have the highest average “steps” per participant. The challenge is free. Walk with the Mayor May 4
Mayor Kelli Slavik will kick off the competition with her annual Walk with the Mayor event 6-7 p.m. Monday, May 4 at the Plymouth Creek Center, 14800 34th Ave. N. More information.
Veterans Memorial First Group Engraving Deadline is May 22 The City of Plymouth is now accepting applications for names to be included in the first group of engravings on the Veterans Memorial, which is nearing completion. Applications for the first group of engravings are due by Friday, May 22. To be included, an application must be completed and submitted with a fee of $175. Visit plymouthmn.gov/vetsmemorial for information.
