When the weather is nice this summer, the outdoor pool at Life Time Fitness will be open – and Plymouth residents can use it. The City of Plymouth is reminding residents about its public-private partnership with the Plymouth Life Time Fitness, 3600 Plymouth Blvd.
Through the partnership, which began in 1997 when the Plymouth Ice Center/Life Time Fitness facility opened, daily passes for the pools and fitness club are available to Plymouth residents without the purchase of a Life Time Fitness membership.
Daily Hours, Rates and Rules
The daily rates per person are as follows:
- Full club use: $9.50
- Pool only, adults: $7.25
- Youth under age 12: $3.50 (entire facility subject to restrictions)
Photo identification that includes a Plymouth home address is required for persons age 18 and older who wish to purchase a daily pass.
In the interest of safety, all adults who bring children to the pool must adhere to a 3-to-1 ratio of children to adults. Those bringing children who are not their own must present an Assumption of Responsibility form signed by the children’s parents. Forms are available at any Life Time Fitness.
Outdoor Pool Hours
The outdoor pools are open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, weather permitting. Pool slides are generally open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, dependent on ratios of number of swimmers to lifeguards.

Low Income Discounts
Residents of Plymouth who are low income may qualify for discount passes. Individuals may purchase eight discount daily passes per year from the city. Call 763-509-5200 for an application and details on eligibility.
