Post from Tuesday, July 16:
Parkers Lake beach is closed until further notice due to water quality concerns caused by flash flooding during Monday evening’s torrential rain and thunderstorm.

At this time, swimming, kayaking and recreation activities in the water are not advised.

The July 16 water ski show at Parkers Lake has also been canceled.

The beach will remain closed while crews complete water quality tests. Signage has been posted on site.

Updates will be shared as they become available.
