Temporary Detour for Route 776 Starts June 7

Road construction will continue on County Road 101 in Plymouth this summer. As part of the project, Hennepin County will close County Road 101 between County Road 24 and Merrimac Lane from June 7 until September 3. The closure will affect Metrolink Route 776.
During the closure of County Road 101, Route 776 will be detoured between County Road 101/Medina Road and the Olive Lane Park and Ride.
Morning Detour: In the morning, Route 776 will detour south on County Road 101 at Medina Road to County Road 24. Buses will then proceed east on County Road 24 to Medina Road, southeast on Medina Road to Dunkirk Lane, south on Dunkirk Lane to County Road 6, west on County Road 6 to Olive Lane, and south on Olive Lane to the Olive Lane Park and Ride. Route 776 will continue the current route at the Olive Lane Park and Ride.
Afternoon Detour: On the afternoon commute, Route 776 will reverse the detour. Beginning at the Olive Lane Park and Ride, buses will run east on County Road 6 to Dunkirk Lane. Buses will travel north on Dunkirk to Medina Road and then northwest on Medina Road to County Road 24. Once on County Road 24, buses will head west to County Road 101, where they will go north. Once at Medina Road and County Road 101, buses will resume the normal route.
Delays: During this time, Route 776 may be delayed due to traffic issues caused by the Hennepin County construction project.
