The Minnesota Department of Transportation has extended the closure of westbound Highway 55 between Highway 169 and I-494 due to weather.

Westbound Highway 55 was originally scheduled to reopen at 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1. It is now set to reopen 10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2.

Those traveling in the area may use southbound Highway 169 to westbound I-394 to northbound I-494 as a detour. View a map of the detour (PDF).
