The City of Plymouth recently launched a new Home Energy Rebate Program designed to encourage Plymouth residents to make energy-efficient home upgrades.
As part of the two-year pilot program, the city will offer rebates to residents who complete energy-efficient projects, including adding insulation to their home, installing an electric vehicle charging station, replacing select appliances or making certain equipment purchases, and installing renewable energy systems (solar/wind).
Rebate amounts are based on project type, as well as income levels and proximity to a climate vulnerable area, as designated by the City of Plymouth. Eligible projects are based on a variety of factors, including each prospective applicant’s utility companies.
