Project Update - March 8, 2024
This project was originally scheduled for construction in winter 2023-2024. Due to warm temperatures in winter 2023-2024, conditions were not favorable to complete this construction work. Construction is now planned to be completed winter 2024-2025.
Project Overview
The City of Plymouth is designing improvements for the pond located on the northwest corner of 19th Avenue North and Dunkirk Lane. The project scope is to remove accumulated sediment, provide enhanced habitat for wildlife, and help improve water quality upstream of Gleason Lake.
This project includes dredging accumulated sediments, stabilizing soils, and repairing and replacing storm pipes and an outlet control structure to ensure the drainage system functions as designed. Some tree removals will be necessary to perform this work.
