Mill and Overlay of Seven Greens/Silverthorne and Mission neighborhoods, and full depth rehabilitation of the Carlson Parkway/6th Avenue neighborhoods

Project Update - March 6, 2025

On February 25, the City Council scheduled a Public Hearing for the 2025 Street Rehabiliation Project on April 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Hall, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard. At this meeting, Council will consider ordering the improvement, adopting the assessments, and awarding the contract for the work related to the street project.

The City Council has adopted an assessment policy that assesses adjacent, benefitting property owners a portion of the cost of the improvement. A letter will be mailed to benefitting property owners prior to the Public Hearing with information about the hearing and the recommended assessment.

Project Overview

This project involves a mill and overlay in the Seven Greens/Silverthorne and Mission neighborhoods, and a full depth pavement rehabilitation in the Carlson Parkway/6th Avenue neighborhood.

In preparation for this project, you may notice crews in your neighborhood marking curb for removal, collecting pavement samples, reviewing utilities, and gathering information for the project, which is necessary to develop the project scope. Once we have collected the necessary information you will receive a neighborhood meeting invitation. The meeting is anticipated to be held later this fall and will include information about what the improvement process involves, and special assessments associated with the project. Staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. View All 2025 Rehabilitation Project Areas (PDF)
